Children's Day 2022
Children's Day Celebration 2022-23
These children are the plants of Thine orchard, the flowers of Thy meadow, the roses of Thy garden. Let Thy rain fall upon them; let the Sun of Reality shine upon them with Thy love. Let Thy breeze refresh them in order that they may be trained, grow and develop, and appear in the utmost beauty…

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru (Chacha Nehru), the first Prime Minister of India, Children's Day is celebrated across India. By showcasing their talents in numerous ways, children pay homage to Chacha Nehru on this day.
BSS celebrates this day every year with grand splendor. On the blessed morning of 14th November, 2022, students assembled and enjoyed a special assembly arranged by the teachers of BSS.
We were privileged to have Mr. Shayez Badrul, an advocate of Dhaka High court and the CEO of BNN92 (a famous news channel of Bangladesh), Mrs. Rafia Amen, a renowned singer, and lyricist of Bangladesh as special guests in the programme.
The celebration started with prayers and an opening song sung by our talented vocal teacher followed by the welcoming of guests. Our Principal speaking on the occasion, said that children are mine rich in gems of inestimable values and these values should be nurtured by creating a conducive environment.
The whole day was celebrated with immense joy. Since this was a day for children, the day started with appreciating the uniqueness of each student in every class, followed by playing cooperative games with students. Magnificent performances by teachers- song, duet dance, group dance, recitation, guitar & violin playing (duet)- were thoroughly enjoyed by students. Our special guest Mrs. Rafia also sang her own composed song, which spreads the message of living unitedly in this world. It was a fun-filled day for the students and the campus was buzzing with excitement and joy. The little ones left the school with bags full of stories to share with their special ones!
The program ended with the distribution of refreshments and pen/pencils among the students as a token of love from the teachers.
