16th Foundation Day Celebration of Brilliant Stars School
Dance by Pre-Primary Students
Brilliant Stars School celebrated its 16th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and uplifted spirit on 8th February 2022 at Rajarshi Hall, Udaipur. Foundation Day is a day to take a pause and reflect over the progress made so far and remember the contribution of the stakeholders and well-wishers.
Song by Class 1 & 2 students
The celebration programme was graced by the Chief Guest Mr. Jena Victor Reang, the District Education Officer, Gomati District and the Guest Of Honor, Mr. Uttam Mitra, Assistant Professor at IASE (Institute of Advanced Studies in Education), Agartala. Presence of Principals/School Heads of various schools in Udaipur and other dignitaries such as a Judge of the District Family Court, Udaipur; Brilliant Stars School Society members and SMC members added value to the programme.
Dance by Class 7 girls
The evening programme started with seeking the blessing of the Almighty through prayers. Then there was lamp lighting followed by the speech of the Honorable Chief guest, Guest of Honour and Principal. The chief guest congratulated all the staff and students of BSS for arranging such a beautiful programme and also wished the students a successful future. He emphasized that educational institutions should not only produce highly academically qualified individuals but also people with overall development and growth.
Tribal Dance by Class 9 students
To add joy to the occasion and make the celebration truly memorable for all, a series of cultural items like a yoga performance showing the ill effects of social media addiction, dance performances on blended songs showcasing the theme of National Integration of India, a slideshow on the school's educational journey and its initial challenges, melodious songs sung by little kids spreading the message of kindness and generosity, a skit depicting isolation being caused by the mobile addition and happy hippo show (a unique show which combines acting and audience interaction to solve social issues) drawing the attention of the spectators of the fact that all career choices are noble which contribute to individual happiness and betterment of society gave a lasting effect in mind and heart of the audience.
Visual & Performance Art Integration
At the end of the cultural event, a unique musical fusion of both Indian & Western musical instruments and an incredible integration of four different visual art forms (such as song, dance, recitation and painting) were shown which evoked the essence of patriotism in the audience.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Uttam Mitra and the Principal, Mr. Vinod Kumar connected the audience with the school’s vision and mission and also with its initial challenges in the trajectory of progress. Both of them thanked the Founders of the school, teachers, collaborators and supporters who have been with the institute ever since its inception and are playing their role in the progress of the school.
