Science And Mathematics Workshop

Science & Maths Workshop Day 2023-24

Brilliant Stars School organized Science & Maths Workshop Day 2023-24 on 11th August 2023, at the school campus. The main objective of this workshop was to encourage students to create working models applying maths concepts and science principles/theories/laws. The students from Grades 1-8 participated in this workshop with great enthusiasm by showcasing their models applying mathematics concepts and science principles/theories.

Another feature of the workshop was the support given by Grade 9 and 10 in preparing models. They guided the younger ones and ensured the smooth operation of the event. A high degree of engagement was seen among the students in creating various models. This workshop provided the scope for brainstorming and understanding the processes and mechanisms involved in the experiments.  

 One of the members of the Organizing Committee, Santanu Acharya, expressed that the workshop would inspire participants to create more simple working models based on science principles and mathematical concepts. Similarly, Snigdha Shil, another member, shared that students would learn to recognize the ways in which these concepts can be applied to their daily lives. 

Overall, the workshop was a success in promoting experiential learning and encouraging students to think creatively and critically.
